Apartamento "Ocre"

EL DUENDE has two separate apartments and several optional ajoining
bedrooms. The house can sleep 10 people so it is ideal for booking large
family get togethers or just a single persons holiday.
The house is in a traditional spanish village above Málaga,
a pleasant 50 minutes drive from the airport.

Situated in idyllic surroundings
it is a pleasurable half-hours drive to the coast. Perfect for the rambler,
everywhere a picture for the artist.

The Apartments
Both the apartments "Ocre" and "Luna" are selfcatering. You can have
your breakfast out by the swimming pool or in your own rooms. You can also
order any meals or packed lunches from our kitchen.

This apartment contains a spacious bright and airy double bedroom and sitting
room (one room), a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table etc.
And
a bathroom with bath and shower. A small balcony overlooks the mountains
and down to the sea. It is on the first floor.

Apartamento "Luna"
This apartment has a twin bedroom, a dining
cum sitting room and a kitchen, and a bathroom
with bath and shower.
It can sleep two people.
From the sitting room is a door out to the patio and swimming pool.

Bedroom "Lila"
|
"Lila" is a double bedroom with a balcony.
"Amarillo" contains two single beds and has a balcony.
"Naranja" is a single bedroom. It has a balcony too.
These bedrooms use a bathroom downstairs.
All rooms (double and single) have lovely views, as we are faily high
up the mountains and the sun hits them when it rises.

The patio, central location in every spanish house, is covered by colourful
shady plants.
It might become one of your favourite places on warm summer
days. Or maybe you prefer to enjoy the freshness of our swimming pool...

Countryside at Los Ventorros

So come! For a break from the stresses of life, a lively holiday of sightseeing
or a combination of the two!
We are lucky enough to be situated near to
Málaga,
a wonderful
place, to wander in the walking streets, see the Picasso Museum, or Cathedral,
visit the nightclubs and beaches.
Then
Granada
is only 1 1/2 hours drive away where you find winter sports,
skiing, snowboarding, etc or the Alhambra Palace, the 8th Wonder of the
World.
You can visit
Córdoba,
Sevilla
within two hours and then return
to the tranquility of the mountains, maybe for a quick dip into the pool
and a glass of wine on the terrace in the evening.
But even if you don't want to hire a car, EL DUENDE is only 1/2 hours
walk from Comares, the next biggest village. There you find a supermarket,
banks, bars and restaurants, a church etc.

Walking around in
Comares
is idyllic! Comares was
probably founded in prehistoric times and still nowadays you find
medieval arches and an old Moorish fortress which once was a Roman military
outpost.
Behind the house we have Mazmúllar, one of the last Morish strongholds.
From the top of this table mountain you can see the whole of our region
called the Axarquía.
We are on the bus route to and from Málaga also.
